Children with speech impediments face numerous social and emotional challenges, which can lead to detrimental psychosocial effects. It is imperative that prompt treatment and attention be given to the children affected by speech impediments to avoid long-lasting consequences later on.

Approach

To create an app to help curb developing speech impediments in children ages 3-10 before they would need speech therapy. The app is designed to teach proper pronunciation by providing a variety of exercises in the form of games and activities, which will help keep the child engaged.
